Hey DC! We hope your Thursday is going great and everyone is enjoying the sunshine! On Thursday, Jurnee Wehrman punched her second State Track Qualifying event, the 3200M in a time of 12:13.27. She ran a tough race in the cold and rain!
On the same day, Jurnee claimed the Divide County school record in the 800M. The record has been standing for 30 years and was formerly held by DC stand out Brenna Stefonowicz with a time of 2:33.1. Jurnee ran an impressive time of 2:32.83!! What a day!

Divide County School District dates to remember. TIME CHANGES FOR MAY 13TH AND MAY 14TH. National Honor Society Induction Ceremony on May 13th will now be at 5:30 starting with a meal for NHS members/inductees and families. The Extra Curricular Awards Program on May 14th will now be at 1:30 pm in the Kirchhofer Auditorium.
Softball Senior Night! Come join us on Thursday May 1st to celebrate our seniors and watch the softball team take on Glenburn. Senior recognition @ 4:20, Varsity game @ 4:30 and JV @ 6.
Attention parents of students interested in taking driver's education this summer. I will be sending home information on class start time/dates, cost of the class, as well as a sign up sheet tomorrow at school. If any students are absent, they can come see me any time this week and I will get the handouts to them. Hey DC Track & Field Crew! I hope you are having a great Sunday! The Junior High Track Meet scheduled for tomorrow in Bottineau has been postponed due to weather. As such, JH & HS will have normal practice after school tomorrow (Monday).
Hey Maroon Nation! The DC JH Track & Field team has more exciting news! In the last two weeks the team has traveled to Bottineau and Stanley. There are two NEW athletes who hit the varsity qualifying standard, Bristol Hallgren & Greenlee Haugland in high jump. As well as three athletes who hit new varsity standards (they have already previously qualified for varsity in other events). These athletes will finish their JH season and then be asked to join the varsity squad for the remainder of the season. Congrats to Bristol, Greenlee, Harper, Aliza, & Izzy!

Photos start at 4:15 p.m., please come 10 minutes prior to your scheduled photo session. All students attending prom must be at the community center by 7:00 p.m. for class photos.

Attention Grades 3-12 Volleyball Players: Coach Burtman will have a high school volleyball meeting soon but here is a look at summer activities for volleyball! Girls currently in grades 7-11 will get the handout at the meeting. Girls currently in grades 2-6 will get a handout from Mrs. Burtman at the elementary.
DC Baseball-Double header tomorrow 4/24 in Tioga. First game will be played at 1pm Varsity vs. Kenmare-Bowbells. Second game will be Varsity vs. Tioga @ 4:30 and JV following @ 6pm. Go DC!
