Three of our friends have mastered their addition facts early! Our goal in first grade is to know the addition facts within 3 seconds by Christmas. These three boys have been working extra hard on their XtraMath every day and will now get to work on subtraction. Way to go Espen, Geo, and Cameron!

Great guest speaker today at the high school. Kent Mollberg, former teacher and coach from Detroit Lakes MN. You can look him up online. Important messages about bullying and the ills of social media.

DCE joined forces today with the Divide County Extension Office and Jason's Super Foods in celebrating Farm to School month by competing in a 9-state Crunch Off competition. North Dakota is competing against Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming to determine who will be crowned the Mountain Plains Region Crunch Champion by having the most crunches into apples per capita.
