Scott Sova and Alan Svangstu visited with Ms. Bummer's Ag III class to talk about New Century Ag. The main topics they discussed were about being an Agronomist and how our area elevator operates. They also touched on the prices of grain along with what kinds of food come from which crops. They ended their visit by talking to the students about their future plans along with the lesson of how college isn't always necessary but helps you out in the future when applying for a job.

On Friday October 25th, Amber Haugland and Kari Lesmeister came in to talk to Ms. Bummers Ag III class about Haugland Insurance Services. They explained how insurance works and why you would rather be over insured then under insured. They also went over an interactive graphic on their website on different types of coverage. Towards the end of their visit they talked to the students about car insurance and renters insurance as the students will be experiencing those in a couple of years. They ended their talk with a discussion on college and entering the workforce. Thank you so much Amber and Kari for coming in!

Last night our DC FFA held their annual Harvest Supper. This year the club decided to add a silent auction with items donated by businesses in Crosby. The money raised will be going to those affected by the fires in Ray and Tioga. Thank you to those who attended and donated along with those FFA alumni families that donated beef for the occasion!
