Volleyball Meeting for girls entering grades 8-12 in Fall 2024 will be Wednesday, May 1 @ 10:00 am with Coach Burtman. It will be a short informational meeting about camps and summer workouts, plus sign-up for next fall. Don't forget to get signed up for camp in Lignite, May 28-31. We need numbers to let the Lake Region coach know for staffing and for camp t-shirts. So far, we have only 8 girls signed up for Grades 6-8 and 2 girls signed up for Grades 9-12. I know many of you plan to sign up. Please return your sheets to Mrs. Lokken at the high school or to Coach Burtman at the elementary. More sheets will be available at the meeting if you need one. $100 checks payable to Lake Region Volleyball.

Attention DC track and field parents: Parshall is hosting an impromptu meet tomorrow, Wednesday May 1. The coaches have talked to all athletes and informed them that any student that was committed to FFA in Stanley or has confirmation after school will not be attending. Any other athlete that cannot attend due to another prior commitment is also excused.

LAST CHANGE I PROMISE..... NEW DATES!!! MAY 28-31, 2024 VOLLEYBALL CAMP -------Due to the driver's education schedule AND State FFA, the dates and times of the volleyball camp have changed to accomodate those players who will be taking driver's ed and going to the North Dakota State FFA Convention. I sincerely apologize for all the changes. Grades 6-8 will be Noon - 3:00PM and Grades 9-12 will be 3:00PM - 6:00PM now. See the new registration form attached. ( If you have already registered, no need to fill out a new form. ) Volleyball players, don't forget to sign up for the Lake Region Volleyball Camp in Lignite MAY 28-31. Forms are in the high school office and you can give them to Mrs. Lokken. You can also get forms from Coach Burtman at the elementary school and give them to her as well at the elementary. This camp is for girls entering grades six through 12 in the fall of 2024. Each girl gets a camp T-shirt.

Divide County! We finished the gym floor removal this weekend. Woohoo! Thank you again to all the volunteers who helped in the process!! Thank you to those who have purchased pieces of the gym floor. We are glad most of it has found good homes, where the memories will continue. We hope to start on the Elementary bleachers and floor this Friday. DCSD is excited to announce that the DC Quarterback Club, represented by Barry Haggin, presented a check for $200,000 to DCSD School Board President, Stephanie Reistad. The donation will be used towards the gymnasium remodels at our district schools. We are truly thankful for the support the Quarterback Club provides to our district to help create opportunities for students.

TODAY is the last day to claim a piece of DCHS history! We will be moving the remaining gym floor pieces to storage today. If you'd like a piece of the gym floor please text Cody (701) 641-0214 or Stephanie (701) 339-0630 for more information. The pieces can be cut to fit your needs! We will have people at the High School today to help load any purchased pieces. Lastly, there is bleacher wood outside of the school on the SE corner of the gym for free will donation. There's lots of GREAT memories on this floor and we are excited to make new ones on the new floor! Thanks to everyone who has helped: load, purchase, cut, and much more!
