DC FCCLA mmebers attended the state conference this Sunday and Monday. It was cut short due to weather but while we were there we had a great time. They attended workshops, main speakers, a tour of the Ronald McDonald House and 2 of our memebers qualified for National STAR events competition.





Attention all DCHS parents of NHS eligible applicants. All paperwork was handed out to the eligible academic students last week. The students have been given until 3:25 pm on April 29 to submit a fully completed application. Applications that are not complete nor submitted on time will not be accepted. There will be no elementary boys or girls basketball practice after school today. Wednesday and Thursday will be announced later, depending on the weather. Please watch for updates!

4/12/22-DC Parent After Prom meeting scheduled for today has been cancelled.

Girls Softball, DC at Glenburn scheduled for tomorrow, April 12, 2022 has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date.

The HS Track meet in Glendive, MT on Thursday April 14, 2022 has been postponed due to weather.

8th and 10th grade students and parents:
The T4 Stem career fair has been postponed until best week Wednesday, April 20 (8th grade) and Thursday, April 21 10th grade)!

It looks like winter isn't ready to leave us yet! Starting tomorrow, all students will need to have their full winter gear at school. Winter jacket, winter hat, winter gloves, snowpants, snowboots. They will be needed on the bus and for recess.

JH Track meet in Parshall has been cancelled for Tuesday Aprill 12, 2022.

10 th grade Biologists did Bird 🐦 beak adaptions activity. Spoons, straws, cloth pins etc were the beaks and jelly beans, gummy worms, chocolate milk etc were the food sources. What a fun way to learn about Natural selection!!!





8th grade FACS worked on a lab called Calories in = Calories out. We made a smoothie, figured out the calories & grams of sugar each ingredient contibuted and the total calories for each serving. Then they had to figure out how long it would take to burn those calories. Then FIELD TRIP to the park to burn them off!! A super fun class!




The 9th grade FACS class is back to cooking. Each student was able to make an omelette with the fillings of their choice.
