Registration for Divide County High School students’ grades 9-12 will be held on Aug. 3-6th at the High School from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM daily. Also, registration for any new students to the district/virtual students in grades 7-12 should come during those days.

2021-22 Health & Safety Re-Entry Plan The purpose of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) III Fund is to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impacts of COVID-19 on the nation’s students by addressing students’ academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs. Divide County School District has developed a draft of its Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan in compliance with receiving ARP ESSER funds. Divide County Student/Athletes, just a reminder that everyone will need a new physical to compete in athletics this year. Athletes will need to have a physical before they will be allowed to compete in any athletic contest or practice in 2021-22. Schedule your physical ASAP.

We had a good group of varsity football players in for an early morning lift today. We will have workouts Monday and Wednesday of next week before taking a little time of for Independence Day. July workouts will resume on Wednesday the 7th. Go DC!!

Ms. Wheeling and Mrs. Ratcliffe taught our students about solar energy today! Each child designed their own solar oven to cook SMORE’S! It was so fun to see everyone’s creative juices flowing!

International Music Camp has received a grant from the Andrist Family Trust to support our IMC On the Road programming for this summer. One of the stipulations to the grant is that we help Divide County students to participate in the IMC On the Road Minot location June 22-24 at Minot State University. The event will consist of middle school band (6th-8th Grade) programming from 9am-12pm and high school band (ages 14-20) programming from 1-4pm and will culminate with a final concert on the 24th. We would like to offer a full tuition scholarship ($250 USD) to ANY Divide County Band students who wish to attend. Families who want to enroll campers can do so by emailing Tim Baumann at: tim@internationalmusiccamp.com.

Congratulations to Mariah Jenkins are her 4th place finish in the high jump at this weekends State Track Meet.
